I feel so alive....

now that I've been making mosaics! (feel free to roll your eyes, I get that all the time!) well, one mosaic, actually. Anyway- last week I decided to spruce up an old birdbath that Eric's dad gave us with some random dishes from the good will store. I bought blue and green fiesta wear and went to town smashing it to bits.... When that was all done I attached it to the bowl, grouted, sealed it- and now I'm proud to say it's all finished. In case you can't really make out the shapes, it's supposed to depict three lily pads, one with a yellow flower. Our trip to the BWCA was the inspiration for this one. Next, I think I'm going to tackle a mosaic on the old window I found in the bathroom wall.... stay tuned.
